Limits of mediation
It should be noted that the following cannot be mediated:
- Family conflicts of separation and divorce
- Disputes in which the City Council is a party
- Commercial or consumer disputes
- Disputes in which there is a presumption of a crime or an open judicial channel
- Disputes where it is established that one of the parties has suffered abuse.
- Disputes where there is an open court case of gender violence.
- Conflict of a minor without the consent of the guardian.
- Conflict with parties involved with serious mental health problems or declared incapacitated, unless it is a minor conflict and the party involved has sufficient capacity to take responsibility.
