Limits of mediation

It should be noted that the following cannot be mediated:

• Family conflicts of separation and divorce
• Disputes in which the City Council is a party
• Commercial or consumer disputes
• Disputes in which there is a presumption of a crime or an open judicial channel
• Disputes where it is established that one of the parties has suffered abuse.
• Disputes where there is an open court case of gender violence.
• Conflict of a minor without the consent of the guardian.
• Conflict with parties involved with serious mental health problems or declared incapacitated, unless it is a minor conflict and the party involved has sufficient capacity to take responsibility.
